| Welcome to our first annual CarSala Idol Karaoke Contest! Here is all the info you need! The contest begins Friday, September 5, 2008. It will run for seven weeks and the finals will take place Friday, October 24, 2008. $100 to the 1st place winner on October 24th as well prizes for 2nd and 3rd place! Great prizes awarded for 1st and 2nd place each semi-final week! Semi-finals In order to compete on the 24th, you must compete and win first place in any one of our contests of the seven weeks. The semi-final contests will take place every Friday starting September 5th to October 17th to see who our 7 finalists will be for October 24th. Sign up begins at 9 and the contest gets underway at 10:30 each week! First come, first served. We will need your name, phone number, song and artist. You may only pick songs from our song books (we have them by title and by artist). No singer may sing the same song as anyone else. If you previously tried out and did not win 1st place, you are permitted to try again each week-even if you placed 2nd or 3rd. Finals All 1st place winners of the previous 7 weeks must be present to compete. If you are not, you are giving another singer an even better chance of winning that $100! Each singer must be signed in and ready by 10:30. You cannot sing the same song OR the song you won to get into the finals. $100 cash goes to our 1st place winner! Prizes awarded to our 2nd and 3rd place winners too! Regular karaoke will take place before and resume after the contest each week for anyone who wants to sing.
